mso jena develops and manufactures optical coatings for lighting systems based on LED sources. Typical products are broadband antireflection coatings for oblique incidence, bandpass filters for modification of the emission spectrum, edge filters for colour temperature conversion, or dichroic beamsplitters for coupling of several LED sources.

The particular coatings are developed and manufactured in the short term based on customer requirements. Ion-assisted coating processes guarantee the longterm stability of spectral characteristics and durability under environmental loads. The low temperature IAD process allows to deposit the coatings onto plastics optical components. Thus beam shaping and spectral optimization can be obtained with a single coated component.
